but when attention pays attention to attention,

then there is a stillness,

~ Krishna (Mahabharata) :

For the atma, there is never birth nor death.Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be.He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval.He is not slain when the body is slain.

Krishna :

Pleasure from the senses seems like nectar at first, but it is bitter as poison in the end.

विषयेन्द्रियसंयोगाद्यत्तदग्रेऽमृतोपमम्।

परिणामे विषमिव तत्सुखं राजसं स्मृतम्।।18.38।।

Krishna :

You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction.
