Don't challenge yourself to be brave or fearless,
challenge yourself to be open and to trust in the higher Self,
challenge yourself to remain inwardly still
and centered inside your own Being.

The apparently Self-realised person does not hanker after more pleasure in daily living, nor does he resist whatever comes his way as a sense objects. Wanting some thing positively or not wanting something negatively are both aspect of volition, and in case of apparently Self-realised person there is absolutely no volition. His sensorial apparatus responds to an external stimulus without the intervention of the mind. He lives his life 'like a dry leaf in the breeze'. He knows that his life is being lived according to God's Will or the Cosmic Law, like everyone's life, and merely witnesses life happening naturally.

If the longing is there, realization will be
forced on you even if you do not want it.
Long for it intensely so that the mind
melts in devotion. After camphor burns
away no residue is left. The mind is the
camphor. When it has resolved itself into
the Self without leaving even the slightest
trace behind, it is realization of the Self.

The state we call realization is simply being oneself, not knowing anything or becoming anything.

Q: What is the difference between meditation and Self-enquiry?
Ramana Maharishi: Meditation is possible only if the ego is retained: there is the ego and the object meditated upon. This method is indirect.
However, if we seek the ego-source, the ego disappears and what remains is the Self. This method is the direct one.

You aware of body , mind , thoughts . Don't give attention to them they come and go . Activity come and go . Personal sense , thought come and go.
Don't dream for desire which are perishable.

So remember though the senses eye are open .. let your attention remain inside your heart .
Stillness of presance
All in more natural way. NO waiting no doing to be self. Self is not distance . Here and now.
Remain as self . Honour ur seeing .Dissolve the mind in the great seeing . Get used to self attention , self awareness. Heart is self.

The sooner the identification with the body as a separate entity is lost, the sooner will the grace of the guru blossom in the consciousness of the disciple.

Allow your mind to say and think the way it will, only don't identify with it. Allow your body to do what it must, but do not react to it. Everything will happen of its own accord. When you allow your mind to think of its own accord, the thoughts begin to dissipate, and soon you have empty mind. Empty mind is consciousness, realization. That's all you have to do - have empty mind. But as long as you believe, 'I am the doer', and you force yourself to have an empty mind, you never will, because the forcing makes the mind stronger. Rather, observe your thoughts, watch the mind thinking, and leave it alone. Do not identify with your thoughts, or with your body, for in reality there is no body and there are no thoughts, for there is only the Self, and you are that.

self
The absence of intentions (because there is no one to have them) is true understanding. When no individual exists, what remains is enlightenment.
