Don't belittle yourself nor raise yourself high. Don't say who you are, for you don't know even that. Just remain empty of Identity and Intention. Keep quiet. Let Truth reveal who you are.

Those who lead a life that is aligned with the Will of God and take shelter at His Feet, will remain unperturbed and at peace even when faced with numerous challenges and afflictions.

To be with God is to be richer than Croesus [a synonym for a very wealthy man]. To be with God is to own the whole universe and be its master. To be with God is to free yourself from misery and fears for all eternity. To be with God is to know all that is to be known. These attainments cannot be had by a mere few minutes of silence. You have to put your whole attention to work.

~Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

There are no problems. They're just experiences. And if you look at the experience in the right way you will transcend that experience and become free of it totally and completely. But if you react in the wrong way to the problem so-called, you may win or find a solution but you will have to go through another problem of a similar state sooner or later. You will have to go through it again and again and again until you transcend it completely by not reacting to it. This is an important point to remember.

Your problem is at a certain level. A certain level of mind. If you believe in your problem, if you're fearful of your problem, if you react to your problem you have not broken out of that level. Even though you may appear to come up with some kind of solution, you are still at that level of consciousness where the problem exists. Therefore you will have to go through it again and again and again. The idea in other words is to rise higher than the problem. To rise higher than the problem. For the problem is below you, beneath you and you are free of it completely.

"The jnani’s state is one which transcends the mind. It cannot be described by the mind. Only Silence can correctly describe this state and its characteristics. Silence is more effective than speech. From Silence came the ego, from the ego came thought, and from thought came speech. So if speech is effective, how much more effective must be its original source?"

Disciple:
If the jnani and the ajnani
perceive the world in like manner,
where is the difference between them?

Maharshi:
Seeing the world,
the jnani sees the Self which is the substratum of all that is seen....

The ajnani,
whether he sees the world or not,
is ignorant of his true Being, the Self....
