ब्रह्मानंदस्वरूप

He whose bliss is Brahman

ब्रह्मानन्दं परमसुखदं केवलं ज्ञानमूर्तिं

द्वन्द्वातीतं गगनसदृशं तत्त्वमस्यादिलक्ष्यम् |

एकं नित्यं विमलमचलं सर्वधीसाक्षिभूतं

भावातीतं त्रिगुणरहितं सद्गुरुं तं नमामि ||

जो ब्रह्मानंदस्वरूप हैं, परम सुख देनेवाले हैं जो केवल ज्ञानस्वरूप हैं, (सुख, दुःख, शीत-उष्ण आदि) द्वन्द्वों से रहित हैं, आकाश के समान सूक्ष्म और सर्वव्यापक हैं, तत्वमसि आदि महावाक्यों के लक्ष्यार्थ हैं, एक हैं, नित्य हैं, मलरहित हैं, अचल हैं, सर्व बुद्धियों के साक्षी हैं, भावना से परे हैं, सत्व, रज और तम तीनों गुणों से रहित हैं ऐसे श्री सदगुरुदेव को मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ |

To that true Guru I bow

whose bliss is Brahman (ultimate Reality), who grants the ultimate joy,

whose form is only Knowledge,

who is beyond the opposites (and contradictions),

who is like space,

who is the intended (meaning) of (the key Upanishadic instructions) ‘tat tvam asi’ (that you are) and the like,

who is one, perpetual, pristine, unmoving,

who is the witness of all thoughts,

who is beyond the states (of the mind),

free of the three Guņas (of nature).
