deathlessness

“Deathlessness is our real nature, and we falsely ascribe it to the body, imagining that it will live for ever and losing sight of what is really immortal, simply because we identify ourselves with the body. It says in the Upanishads that the jnani looks forward eagerly to the time when he can throw off the body, just as a laborer carrying a heavy load looks forward to reaching his destination and laying it down.”

- Bhagavan in 'Day by Day'

consciousness

Other than Consciousness nothing exists. Whatever you see is your own reflection. It is only through ignorance of your true nature that the universe appears to exist. One who understands with conviction that the universe is nothing but an illusion becomes free of it.

Thought works only on memory, and man’s likes and dislikes are based on previous experiences. Without the mediacy of thought, neither likes nor dislikes arise, nor is there any attachment to experience.

spit on public opinion

"Spit on public opinion, look towards God and try to please him.

If the God is pleased, then the whole world is pleased."

- Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa dev.

I am that I am

“Your duty is to be and not to be this or that. ‘I am that I am’ sums up the whole truth. The method is summed up in the words ‘Be still’. What does stillness mean? It means destroy yourself. Because any form or shape is the cause for trouble. Give up the notion that ‘I am so and so’. All that is required to realize the Self is to be still. What can be easier than that?”

peace

"There is no sadhana better than just staying as Peace.

If you must do any practice, then do Vichar.

Joy is also a good sadhana because it destroys mind, so always be happy.

Always think of It and be happy:
spend the rest of your life knowing you are Existence-Consciousness-Bliss."

~ Papaji
