मन वेश्या की तरह है। किसी का नहीं है मन। आज यहां, कल वहां; आज इसका, कल उसका। मन की कोई मालकियत नहीं है। और मन की कोई ईमानदारी नहीं है। मन बहुत बेईमान है। वह वेश्या की तरह है। वह किसी एक का होकर नहीं रह सकता। और जब तक तुम एक के न हो सको, तब तक तुम एक को कैसे खोज पाओगे? न तो प्रेम में मन एक का हो सकता है; न श्रद्धा में मन एक का हो सकता है—और एक के हुए बिना तुम एक को न पा सकोगे। तो कहीं तो प्रशिक्षण लेना पड़ेगा—एक के होने का।

इसी कारण पूरब के मुल्कों ने एक पत्नीव्रत को या एक पतिव्रत को बड़ा बहुमूल्य स्थान दिया। उसका कारण है। उसका कारण सांसारिक व्यवस्था नहीं है। उसका कारण एक गहन समझ है। वह समझ यह है कि अगर कोई व्यक्ति एक ही स्त्री को प्रेम करे, और एक ही स्त्री का हो जाए, तो शिक्षण हो रहा है एक के होने का। एक स्त्री अगर एक ही पुरुष को प्रेम करे और समग्र—भाव से उसकी हो रहे कि दूसरे का विचार भी न उठे, तो प्रशिक्षण हो रहा है; तो घर मंदिर के लिए शिक्षा दे रहा है; तो गृहस्थी में संन्यास की दीक्षा चल रही है। अगर कोई व्यक्त्ति एक स्त्री का न हो सके, एक पुरुष का न हो सके, फिर एक गुरु का भी न हो सकेगा; क्योंकि उसका कोई प्रशिक्षण न हुआ। जो व्यक्ति एक का होने की कला सीख गया है संसार में, वह गुरु के साथ भी एक का हो सकेगा। और एक गुरु के साथ तुम न जुड़ पाओ तो तुम जुड़ ही न पाओगे। वेश्या किसी से भी तो नहीं जुड़ पाती। और बड़ी, आश्चर्य की बात तो यह है कि वेश्या इतने पुरुषों को प्रेम करती है, फिर भी प्रेम को कभी नहीं जान पाती।

अभी एक युवती ने संन्यास लिया। वह आस्ट्रेलिया में वेश्या का काम करती रही। उसने कभी प्रेम नहीं जाना। यहां आकर वह एक युवक के प्रेम में पड़ गई, और पहली दफा उसने प्रेम जाना। और उसने मुझे आकर कहा कि इस प्रेम ने ही मुझे तृप्त कर दिया; अब मुझे किसी की भी कोई जरूरत नहीं है। और उसने कहा कि आश्चर्यों का आश्चर्य तो यह है कि मैं तो बहुत पुरुषों के संबंध में रही; लेकिन मुझे प्रेम का कभी अनुभव ही नहीं हुआ। प्रेम का अनुभव हो ही नहीं सकता बहुतों के साथ। बहुतों के साथ केवल ज्यादा से ज्यादा शरीर का भोग, उसका अनुभव हो सकता है। एक के साथ आत्मा का अनुभव होना शुरू होता है; क्योंकि एक में उस परम एक की झलक है। छोटी झलक है, बहुत छोटी; लेकिन झलक उसी की है।-ओशो - सुन भई साधो–(प्रवचन–17)

The Universal Body of the Lord comprises all things--trees, flowers, leaves, hills, mountains, rivers, oceans, and so forth. A time will come, must come, when one actually perceives this all--pervading Universal Form of the One. The variety of His shapes and guises is infinite, uncountable, without end. 

Just as ice is nothing but water, so the Beloved is without form, without quality, and the question of manifestation does not arise. When this is realized, one has realized one’s Self. For, to find the Beloved is to find one’s Self, to discover that God is one’s very own, wholly identical with one’s self, the innermost Self, the Self of the self.

Questioner: How does one reach the Supreme State?

Nisargadatta Maharaj: By renouncing all lesser desires. As long as you are pleased with the lesser, you cannot have the highest. Whatever pleases you, keeps you back. Until you realise the unsatisfactoriness of everything, its transiency and limitation, and collect your energies in one great longing, even the first step is not made. On the other hand, the integrity of the desire for the Supreme is by itself a call from the Supreme. Nothing, physical or mental, can give you freedom. You are free once you understand that your bondage is of your own making and you cease forging the chains that bind you.
