Being

The Sense of BEING is the realm through which the Absolute will express Itself, either in the form of teaching or just life. You are on familiar ground wherever you are. You are on the best ground wherever you are. Even on the groundless you ARE at Home. There are some things books cannot teach you. They cannot give you that experience. But, you will contemplate it. You'll marinate your attention in it and you'll be illumined by it. Something, waves of Illumination will make some things clear that you've not studied, you've only just come to know where KNOWING and BEING are the same. So, the one who has found it and recognised It says, "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you thank you thank you, thank you." Who is filled with the joy of this discovering and the flowering of Consciousness, satisfy themselves. For another one, it will only be maybe  a fleeting experience and they will say at some point in some years, " Yes, I had an experience once in 2... in Rishikesh. What's that chap's name? Mooji?" And another one will join the realm of the Immortals. I was talking with Devak (a sangha assistant) and he said there was one little boy with autism and they had never met and he walked into the room and the little boy said to him "Do you meditate?" ... and he said, "Yes, sometimes." And, the boy replied, "Yes, we who meditate alone know, we are Immortal... We are Immortal. What it means? Not, we who think, but those whose attention has turned  in and is merged in the Heart of BEING. Who can see from Source, who see with panoramic eyes, understand intuitively the difference between the realms of BEING and becoming, the manifest and the Unmanifest. Thank you.

Attention to self

Master Mooji Says:  "If we pay too much attention to things we will keep on seeing things. If you pay more attention to the space in which things come and go, then you stop seeing things and you´ll feel just a harmony with the space itself!"

Illusion

D: What is Maya? Illusion?

B: Seeing ice without seeing that it is water is illusion, Maya. Therefore saying things like killing the mind or anything like that also has no meaning, for after all mind also is part and parcel of the Self. Resting in the Self or inhering in the Self is mukti, getting rid of Maya. Maya is not a separate entity. Absence of light is called darkness, so also absence of Knowledge, Illumination etc., is called ignorance, illusion or Maya.

(From 'Crumbs from His Table', ch. 11)

Realisation

Sri Ramana Maharshi: ~~~ Talk 96.

M.;
Compare deep sleep and waking.
The body appears in one state
but not in the other.
Therefore the body will be lost.

The consciousness
was pre-existent
and will survive the body.

In fact, there is no one who does not say ‘I am’.
The wrong knowledge of ‘I am the body’
is the cause of all the mischief.
This wrong knowledge must go.
That is Realisation.

Realisation is not
acquisition of anything new
nor it is a new faculty.

It is only removal of all camouflage.

Bliss

Ramana says: "That bliss of the Self is always with you, and you will find it for yourself, if you would seek it earnestly. The cause of your misery is not in the life outside you, it is in you as the ego. You impose limitations on yourself and then make a vain struggle to transcend them."
